What is the new Pokémon TCG set? Right now that is Delta Reign, which releases worldwide on 6 November 2026. Below you can read what is inside, how pre-order works and what we do and do not know about the sets after it.

What is in Delta Reign?

Delta Reign is the sixth main set of the Mega Evolution series, code name ME06. The set has 141 cards: 103 in the main set and 38 secret rares, the rare extra cards numbered beyond the main set. The headline cards are Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. New are the Legendary Stadiums: Stadium cards that you play together as a pair. Booster packs and pre-order: how does it work?

A pre-order means you order a product before the set is officially released. You pay now and we ship from 20 November 2026. That way your copy is secured, even if a product becomes scarce quickly later on. What can you choose? A single booster pack is the cheapest way to start. An Elite Trainer Box, or ETB, holds more: booster packs and play accessories. What exactly is inside is explained in our article on what an Elite Trainer Box is. Who is Delta Reign for?

Do you play yourself? Then keep an eye on the new Legendary Stadiums, because you play them as a pair and you can build your deck around them. Do you prefer collecting? Then it is all about the Mega ex cards, which are strong cards with a lot of hit points, and the fun of opening packs. Looking for a gift? An Elite Trainer Box or our own Pull & Protect Bundle: Delta Reign is a good pick, because it combines booster packs with protection. That way you do not need to buy anything separately to keep the cards safe.

Which sets come after that?

Honest answer: we do not know yet. For the sets after Delta Reign, as far as we know, Pokémon has not officially confirmed a name or a date. Some brand names have been filed in a trademark register, but a trademark is not an announcement, as our Fresh Pulls report on 2027 explains (in Dutch: read it here). So we do not name titles or release dates here. Rumours are often wrong, and you do not want to pre-order on a guess. Confirmed sets appear on our sets page once they are official.
